| These drawings are inspired by the art of Africa and India. I enjoy using Adinkra symbols and mehendi (see sidebar) designs in my images. The third eye in my images represent the dreams andvisions of the night, and listening to the promptings of the Spirit. In many African culturesthe cowrie shell represents femininity, and the gold represents wealth and prosperity-both in a literal and spiritual sense.
